SMITH, CHARLOTTE ANNE DUNCAN

Charlotte Anne Duncan Smith 71 of Walker died April 19, 2010 at Baton
Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet after a valiant battle against
cancer. She was a former longtime resident of Alexandria and Baton
Rouge. She was the senior executive vice president of Southern General
Agency of Alexandria and was a pioneer in the insurance industry and
was a member of Park View Baptist Church in Alexandria.

Visitation was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in Baton Rouge on
Thursday, March 22, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and resumed on Friday,
March 23, 2010 until the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. conducted by
the Rev. David Shaw. A graveside service was held in the Ponemah
Cemetery in Bogalusa conducted by the Rev Kevin Arinder.

A daughter and her longtime partner, a son, a sister and brother-in-
law, a brother, three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, a great-
grandson, and four nieces and nephews survive her.

Preceding her in death was her mother and father, Cleo Scroggs Sticker
and Prather Duncan; and her grandparents, Maude and Roy Scroggs.
