Spurgeon, Sister Mrs. Amanda Melvina was born April 6, 1849, died August 4, 
1919, joined Laurel Hill Baptist Church, August 1879, at Laurel Hill, she 
moved to Natchitoches Parish, and joined Bay Springs and has been a member 
of the church since 1879.  Leaves 2 sons and host of grandchildren.
