Strother, of Lone Pine, Dies--- Dr. F.E. Strother 60, died at the family residence where he had been residing for many years at Lone Pine, La., Saturday, November 14, 1942. He had been a member of the Evangeline Parish School Board for 25 years and Justice of the Peace for 10 years. He was born in Glenmora, Louisiana. Funeral services were held at the family residence in Lone Pine on Monday; interment was in the Griffin Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mary Sadler of Glenmora; one daughter, Mrs. Eunice Harper; five sisters, Mrs. H.D.Hallman of Eola, La., Miss Cora Strother of Lone Pine, Mrs. Alex Strother of Oakdale,La., Mrs. J.W. Wilder of Jonesville, La., and Mrs. Julia Gibson of Port Arthur, Texas; and one brother, D.B. Strother of Port Arthur, Texas.
