Emma J. Weems

Died, at her residence, in New Iberia, on Friday, February 17th, 
Mrs. C. C. Weems, aged 41 years. The Weems family removed from 
Rapides parish to this place about one year ago, and are held in 
high esteem by their neighbors and those who have become 
acquainted with them,  and the misfortune which has stricken 
them so suddenly awakens the hearty sympathies of the community. 
The remains of deceased were buried from the Episcopal church on 
Saturday evening.
