William David Elliott grew up in West Florida ,in what is now East and West 
Feliciana Parishes. He married Elizabeth Andrews. In early 1800's they moved to 
Rapides Parish, La. They lived near Forest Hill in the vicinity of the Butters 
Cemetery.They are both buried in the Butters Cemetery. William David Elliott 
died January 30, 1865. His wife, Elizabeth Andrews Elliott was born August 17, 
1800 and died August 17, 1866. They are the head of the Elliott family line 
that lived around Forest Hill and Glenmora,La.
William David Elliott had a brother,Willis Elliott - born 1793,who moved to a 
part of St.Landry Parish that later became Evangeline Parish.He lived near Pine 
Prairie, Louisiana. Willis Elliott is the head of the Elliott Family line that 
lived in Evangeline Parish,La.
