KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, C. V. Clark
as principal and Wm. A. Morrow  as security, are held and firmly bound unto 
the Governor of Louisiana, in the full sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars 
for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and 
administrators jointly and severally by these presents.

Dated at Marksville, LA, this 9th day of Oct A.D. 1933.  Whereas a license has 
this day been issued by the Clerk of Court, in and for 
the Parish of Avoyelles, to unite in the bonds of matrimny, the above bounden
C. V. Clark and Miss Edna Marie Cobb
of the Parish of Avoyelles.

Now, therefore, the condition of the above obligation is such that if there 
should be no legal impediments to this alliance then
said obligation to be null and void, else, to remain in full force and virtue.

Mr. C. V. Clark, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is not related to
Miss Edna Marie Cobb in the degree prohibited by law and that he has the 
consent of his parents as well as that of her parents to get this license.

TO ANY PRIEST, MINISTER, JUDGE OR JUSTICE OF THE PEACE OF THE PARISH OF 
AVOYELLES, GREETINGS:
YOU ARE HEREBY LICENSED and permitted to unite in the bonds of matrimony, 
according to the law and established rules:
Mr. C. V. Clark        age 28  Son of
Father   H. T. Clark                       and Mother  Ellen Shannon AND
Miss Edna Marie Cobb   age 18              Daughter of
Father   E. J. Cobb                        and Mother  Willie Self
and when you shall so have done, that you make duplicate acts of the 
celebration thereof, signed by yourself and three witnesses as
required by law, one of which acts you shall return within thirty days to the 
office of the Clerk of the 12th Judicial Court, in and for the Parish of 
Avoyelles, together with this license.

GIVEN under my hand and seal of office as Clerk of this District Court, in and 
for the Parish of Avoyelles, this 9th day of Oct. A.D. 1933

9th day of Oct. A.D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and Thirty-three

Before me, the undersigned Minister of Gospel in and for the Parish of 
Avoyelles, personally came and appeared:  
Mr. Calvin Clark                     and Miss Edna Marie Cobb
who, having produced the license required by law, signified thir intention and 
desire to be united in the bonds of matrimony.

WHEREUPON I, the said H. B. McCann in the presence of the undersigned 
competent witnesses, did join the said parties in wedlock, 
and pronounced them man and wife.

IN FAITH WHEREOF, the parties, together with the undersigned witnesses and, 
the said BOTH PARTIES have hereunto, on the day, month and year aforesaid, 
signed these presents.
