Alexandria Town Talk Weekly

No. 416, Probate Docket, District Couirt, Rapides Parish, La. - - Pursuant 
to a commission and order of Sale issued and to me directed by the Honorable 
the Twelfth Judicial District Court in and for the Parish and State aforesaid, 
in the matter of the Minors Laney for Family Meeting, commanding me in 
conformity with the advice of the family meeting held therein and the approval 
and judgement of the Court thereon, to sell the hereinafter described property, 
I will offer for sale at public auction at the front of the Court House door, 
in the Town of Alexandria, La. between the hours prescribed by law, on Saturday, 
the 30th day of Auguat, A.D. 1884 the following described property to wit: The 
interest of the Minors George W., Mary Ida, Lizzie Lee, Enoch W. and Amelia M. 
Laney, being the undivided 67-240 interest in and to lots 1 and 3 of square 8 
of the upper suburbs of Alexandria, La., bounded in the rear by Red River, above 
by property of Louisa Simonds, below by Fish street, and in front by Second street, 
with the buildings and improvements thereon. Terms--cash subject to appraisement.
