Pursuant to a commission and order of sale issued and to me directed by the Honorable, the 12th Judicial District Court, in and for the Parish and State aforesaid, in the above entitled and numbered Succession, commanding and authorizing me as Sheriff and ex-officio Auctioneer, to sell for the payment of debts for cash, and in accordance with law, the hereinafter described property, I shall offer for sale at public auction, at the late residence of the deceased, situated at J. H. Meeker's store, Bayou Boeuf, Rapides Parish, La., between the hours prescribed by law, on WEDNESDAY, THE 30TH DAY OF JANUARY, A.D. 1884, The following described property belonging to said Succession, to-wit: One (1) Mare; one Buggy and Harness; Gold Watch and chain; one Breech Loading Shot-Gun; Revolver; Two Trunks containing Wearing Apparel, etc. Terms - Cash, subject to appraisement.
