Members present: THOS. L. TERRY, president; S. B. HARRIS; T. G. McGRAW and S. F. SPENCER. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. BEN WOLFSON, tax assessor and registrar, be and he is hereby authorized to purchas registration and poll books and present the account to the president for payment; and the president is hereby authorized to draw on the partial treasury to pay same out of any funds of 1883 not otherwise appropriated. CLOYD SIMPSON, a pauper, dropped from the pauper roll, is hereby restored agin and to draw his pay before Jan. 1st, 1884. LETHAN JOHNSON is placed on the pauper roll at $5 per month from March lst, 1884. JAS. FOLEY to draw same and appropriate it to her (sic) use and benefit. The following accounts were allowed, ordered to be registered and assigned, according to law, and to be paid out of their respective funds of the different years according to date, when the same has been collected and paid into the public Treasury as follows: 1881 -- JOHN P. SPIKES -- $11.50 LEVI SPIKES 11.50 PETER KRAMER 11.50 1882 -- MARTIN JONES 3.80 TIM WASHINGTON 3.80 1883-- CLERK/SUPREME CT. 10.00 E. F. PHILLIPS 2.00 W. GUTHRIE 9.00 The following named persons have been appointed a jury of free holders to lay out and review a public road from SLEDGE'S old store intersecting the old military road at J. J. YEARWOOD'S PLACE and to report same to the Police Jury, viz.: R. S. GARDINER; T. L. PAGE; J. J. YEARWOOD; BEN NORRIS; B. F. ALUMS and J. C. CARLISLE.
