                        SUCCESSION SALE
STATE OF LOUISIANA - PARISH OF RED RIVER IN 10TH DISTRICT COURT
             Sucession of W. H. TREADWELL, deceased

By virtue of an order from the Honorable Judge of Tenth District Judicial 
District in and for the parish of Red River, Louisiana and ex officio Judge of 
Probate, and a commission issued thereunder by the Clerk of said Court, and to 
me directed, authorizing and empowering me to sell, to the last and highest 
bidder, on the premises at or near East Point, said parish and State between 
the hours of 11 a. m. and 4 p.m. on
              SATURDAY, MAY 23rd A. D. 1885
all the property, real and personal,of the succession of W. H. TREADWELL, 
deceased, as described on the inventory of said succession consisting of the 
following tracts of land viz:
   A tract of about five hundered and nine acres, known as the "B" plantation, 
being the south half of the southeast quarter of section 30, and the north 
half and west half of east half of section 31, township 14,range 10 and the 
southeast corner of section 36, township 14, range eleven, east of Red River 
with all the stock of horses, mules, wagons, tools, farming implements, 
improvements, appurtenances and realty qy destinatin theron, under the special 
mortgage and vendors lien for twelve thousand dollars in favor of ROBINSON & 
STRINGFELLOW.
   Also, a tract of thirteen hundred and thirty-three acres, described as 
follows:
   East half of southeast quarter of section thirty one; section thirty two; 
west half and south half of the northeast quarter of section thirty-three; 
east half of southeast quarter of the southwest quarter and the southeast 
quarter of the northeast quarter of section twenty-nine; east half of the 
northwest quarter of section twenty eight, township fourteen, range ten, 
acquired from R. E. HYNSON.
   Also, the northwest quarter of southeast quarter of section nineteen, 
township fourteen, range ten, with all the improvements, thereon.
   Also Lots three and four in section seventeen; east half of the southwest 
quarter of section twenty five; south half of southeast quarter of sectiion 
twenty five; south half of southeast quarter of section twenty eight; south 
half of southeast quarter of section twenty eight, township fourteen, range 
ten; east half of the northeast quarter of section four, township fourteen, 
range nine; northeast quarter of section twenty five; lots one, four and five 
os section five; south half of the southwest quarter of section four; 
southeast quarter of the southeast quarter and lot six of sectiion three; east 
half of the northeast quarter of section four; lots two and five in section 
eight; lots one and two of section nine; last half of northeast quarter of 
section five, township thirteen, range ten.
   One lot and improvement in the town of East Point, embracing one square 
acre in the southeast quarter of the southwest fractional quarter of section 
thirty, township fourteen, range ten.
   Also, household and kitchen furniture, stock of cattle, one horse, three 
bales of cotton and all other personal property mentioned or described in the 
inventory of said succession.
   TERMS OF SALE -- Cash, with the benefit of appraisement.
