Confederate Service Record
   HENRY M. JOYCE, (1833-1874) a resident of what is now Red River Parish, 
enlisted on June 18, 1862 at Natchitoches as a Private in Co. B 2nd Louisiana 
Cavalry. He was captured in 1863 and paroled on June 10, 1865.
