Confederate Service Record
   TUCKER LONG, a later resident of Red River Parish, enlisted April 1, 1862 
as a Private in Company B, 11th Battalion, La. Infantry. He was among those 
captured at Grand Lake on April 14, 1863 and taken aboard the "Queen of the 
West".
