Enlistment, In C.S.A.
   WILLIAM A. CANNON, who was a resident in the area that is now Red River 
Parish, enlisted as a Private in Company B 11th Battn. Louisiana Infantry on 
May 6, 1862. He died on Oct. 17, 1862 in the hospital at Camp Delhi. His 
descendants continued to reside in Red River Parish.
