Confederate War Record
   GREEN BERRY JOYCE, a resident of what is now Red River Parish, enlisted 
with his brother, HENRY M. JOYCE and brother-in-law, ISIAH JONES, on June 18, 
1862 in Natchitoches. The three were enrolled as Privates in Company B 2nd 
Louisiana Cavalry. He was captured and released.  GREEN BERRY JOYCE later went 
to Texas.
