Service Inscription/ Tombstone
   JOHN M. WOODARD was born Jan. 9, 1897 and died Aug. 7, 1919. His service 
record is inscribed on his burial stone at Holly Springs Cemetery, Red River 
Parish. It reads: "La Pvt 29 Inf. WWI.
