Coushatta Citizen  - April 18, 1885 April 18, 1885
    NOTICE! -- The following Committee of Examiners have been appointed by the 
School Board to examine applicants for positions as teachers in the public 
schools of this parish viz: MESSRS. JOSEPH E. PIERSON, S. A. HULL, L. 
GRISWOLD, and the President and Secretary of the School Board. The Committee 
will entertain applications for examination at any time at Coushatta. It is 
intended to open the public schools on the first Monday in May next, or as 
soon thereafter as teachers can be procured.
