T. TEER, president, replacing JOHN CRICHTON, who resigned for reasons of health. Other members were J. C. BROWN, J. H. ALLUMS, O. T. WEBB, E. T. ROBINSON. MESSRS. ROBINSON, CRICHTON, ALLUMS, and T. G. PICKETT were appointed a committee to contract for and receive [bids] for a bridge across Grand Bayou. J. D. HARPER was granted permission to put in gates. Following an ordinance making it unlawful for wine or hogs of any description to ruan at large, the Jury set the official fence The area: Bounded on the north of Loggy Bayou, east by Coushatta Bayou, South by Coushatta Bayou and Red River, west by Red River, said territorybeing located in the fourth ward. The fence: 4 wires and one six-inch plank, and then three wires above plank to make fence five feet high; posts to be eight feet apart. J. C. BROWN, BARNEY DIXON, HARRISON LONGINO, S. C. ORR, ANN HAMOS and FRANK ADAMS were appointed a Board of Reviewers to review and lay out a road from T. K. GIDDENS to intersect road No. 10 near Hickory Grove. The office of Road Commissioner was abolished. Accounts amounting to $411.02 were approved. The following were appointed as overseers of public roads in the parish for the year ending March 1, 1902: Road No. 1 -- T. J. WILKINSON, CHAS WOODARD, W. R.
