Coushatta Citizen December 9, 1871
                        A VALUABLE TRACT OF LAND
                           AT PUBLIC SALE
   I will offer for sale at public auction to the highest bidder, in the town 
of Coushatta on 
                     SATURDAY, THE 23RD OF DECEMBER 1871
the following described lands lying and being in Red River, to wit:
   The east half of northeast quarter, and lots 2 and 3 of Section 5, township 
13, north of range 10 west containing 150 and 5/100 acres.
   Also the south half of southeast quarter of Section 3 and south half of 
northwest quarter of section 3, township 13, range 9.
   The above described lands will be sold on the following terms: One half 
cash and the remainder on a credit of 12 months from day of sale, purchasers 
giving notes with approved personal security and a mortage on the lands sold 
to secure the payment of the purchase price.
