N. PRUDHOMME, like the Phoenix of fabled notoriety, has arisen from the ashes of misfortune and is about completing a large and commodious business establishment, next door to E. F. PAUVERT, on Carroll Street. The enery and perseverance displayed by our young friend is worthy of imitation, and deserving of the success which must necessarily follow him. MR. PRUDHOMME will be open for Christmas with all the "phunny things" (sic) that attract the little ones; together with a general assortment of ladies goods and wares.
