DELA LOCKETT and three children left last night on the Steamer Imperial for New Orleans, where she goes to procure medical treatment for her little daughter, MAMIE. JOHN T. TEER spent several days this week at his old home near Clear Springs. HON., J. T. S. THOMAS of Love's Lake was in town on last Thursday. MRS. C. D. JONES of Jordan's Ferry was a pleasant guest of our burg on last Thursday. On Saturday, Feb. 1st, there will be an old-time candy pulling at MRS. THORNTON'S on Carroll St. (McGOLDRICK) residence). Hours 2 to 6. Ten cents admission is all it will cost you and everybody is promised all the candy they can eat, and an immense amount of fun. It is given for the children but every body is invited. The money is to go to improve the cemetery.
