Headline: Stonewall, La

Funeral services for Verta Solice Allums, 68, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, 
December 5, 2006 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel, Coushatta, LA. Burial 
will be at Springville Cemetery in Coushatta. Visitation will be held from 12 
p.m. until service time on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Allums was born June 21, 1938 in Spanish Lake, LA and died December 2, 
2006. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who 
knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben E. Allums. 

She is survived by two sons, Melvin K. Niette of Spanish Lake, LA, Danny 
Allums and wife Angie of Benton, LA; one daughter, Chryste Allums of 
Stonewall, LA; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
