R.V. Lois Bogues

Funeral services for Mrs. R.V. Lois Bogues, 90, will be held at 2 p.m. today, 
Dec. 31, 2002, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. T.W. Barnes 
officiating and the Rev. George "Dee" Anders assisting. Burial will follow at 
Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mrs. Bogues, a native of Red River Parish and a resident of Minden, passed 
away Sunday, Dec. 29, in Minden. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Bogues; and two sons, R.D. 
Bogues and Grady Bogues.

She is survived by her sons, Ralph Bogues and wife Ethylene of Weatherford, 
Texas, J.D. Bogues Jr. and wife Elaine of Haynesville; and Eddie Bogues and 
wife Stacey of Minden; daughter, Shirley V. Kirkham and husband Roy of Minden; 
sisters, Willie Ashley of Shreveport and Viola Chandler of Minden; brother, 
Leon Sanders of Coushatta; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 
numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
