The Coushatta Citizen Jan. 13, 2005
   Funeral services for MRS. LAVERNE CANNON, 82, of Coushatta were held at 3 
p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with the REV. BILL 
HINES and the REV. JACK BELL officiating. Interment was in Social Springs 
Cemetery. 
   MRS. CANNON passed away Jan. 8, 2005. She was born April 23, 1922 in Red 
River Parish.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, WILLIAM ALVIN CANNON.
   Survivors incllude two daughters, LINDA KILE and husband, CHARLES, of 
Coushatta; DEWANA WATERS and husband, REED, of Coushatta; four grandchildren, 
DENNIS GAY, MARK GAY, NACOLE WATERS, HANNAH WATERS; four great grandchildren, 
MELISSA GAY, DALTON GAY, JARED GAY and BRANDON GAY.
   Pallbearers were TONY DAVIS, WARREN PERKINS, RICKY HINDS, KENNETH NORRED, 
DONALD RAY DUPREE, and CLAYTON WARREN.
