Obitutiary: Winnie Lu POLAND Elliott

             MRS WINNIE ELLIOTT EXPIRES ON SUNDAY (January 2, 1966)

  Last rites were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 1966 for Mrs. 
Winnie Lee (Lu) POLAND
Elliott, 75, of Oak Grove, who succumbed Sunday, January 2, 1966 at Carroll 
Nursing Home here.
 The Rev. R.V. Kinney officiated at the rites. Interment was in the Kilbourne 
cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home of Oak Grove. 
  Survivors include one son, Joseph R. "Joe"  Elliott, of Buras; a brother, 
Robert Cullen "R.C."  POLAND of Oak Grove; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Hayes of 
Delhi; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
  Pallbearers were Wayne Hayes, Twain Hayes, Melvin Poland, Eugene Poland, 
Stanford Poland and Pete Poland.

Winnie Lu POLAND was born June 28, 1890 in Red River Parish,LA to Joseph B.F. 
POLAND and Emma E. Caraway.
