   COUSHATTA, LA. -- Services for HENDRIX M. FOWLER, 111, 30, of Coushatta, 
will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at First United Methodist 
Church of Coushatta. Officiating wil be Pastor STEVE FOWLER. Interment will 
follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Halfway, La.
   The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 
14 at Rose-Neath Coushatta Funeral Home.
   MR. FOWLER was born April 18, 1975 in Shreveport, La. and passed away 
Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005 in Natchitoches Parish. He was Chief of Central Fire 
and Rescue in Coushatta. A graduate of Riverdale Academy High School, he was 
also a graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. His passions 
in life were hunting and fishing.
   Survivors are his paents, H. M. "BUDDY" FOWLER, JR. and LAWANNA FOWLER; 
paternal grandparents, H. M. "MUTT" FOWLER, SR. and KATHERINE FOWLER, all of 
Coushatta; maternal grandmother, DEVONNE STEPHENSON of Vivian, La.; brothers, 
JESSE FOWLER of Coushatta, and JOHN FOWLER and wife, TACEY, of Martin; niece, 
REBEKAH FOWLER; newphew, ETHAN FOWLER; and special friends, KRISTI FONTENOT of 
Bossier City, and PRESTON JOWERS of Tennessee.
   Serving as pallbearers will be JOHNNY LEVASSEUR, HUBER WILKERSON, DR. WYCHE 
COLEMAN, BILLY SHAW, ALLEN POSEY, LEE POSEY, REX CLARK and PAUL JOHNS. 
Honorary pallbearers will be the firemen of the Red River Fire District, DR. 
WHYCE TAYLOR COLEMAN and DR. STEVEN WHITED.
  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allergy and Asthma Network, 
Mothers of Asthmatics, 2751 Prosperity Ave., Suite 150, Fairfax, VA, 22031;
