Headline: Phenix City, AL

Funeral services for Sgt. Robert Paul Kassin, 29, will be held at 11 a.m. 
Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. 
Wiley Cole officiating. Eulogy will be given by Jerry Wilson. Burial with 
full military rites will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Methvin, LA. Funeral 
services are under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home, Coushatta, 
LA. 

Sgt. Kassin was killed in action in Afghanistan on Sunday, July 16, 2006 
while serving in the United States Army. He was born in Flint, MI. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Aron Wilson. He is 
survived by his wife, Judy C. Kassin of Phenix City, AL; one son, Joseph D. 
Kassin of Petal, MS; 2 step daughters, Kayla Ford of Phenix City, AL, Cameron 
Toole of Phenix City, AL; his parents, Bob and Lucy Kassin of Clovis, NM; 2 
sisters, Katrina Najera and husband, Casey of Clovis, NM; Bethaney Beach and 
husband, Jeremy of Clovis, NM; maternal grandmother, Beverly Wilson of Flint, 
MI; paternal grandparents, Rudolph Kassin of Lake George MI, Marion Kassin of 
Davison, MI and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Military Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike 
Lewis and Edward Moosman.
