   Funeral services for MRS. ANNIE UNDERWOOD KENNINGTON, 91, of Coushatta were 
held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel in 
Bossier City with the REV. BILLY PIERCE, pastor of Cypress Baptist Church 
officiating.
   MRS. KENNINGTON passed away Sept. 13, 2000, at Pilgrim Manor North in 
bossier. She was born in Red River Parish and lived there all her life. She 
was a homemaker.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, JAMES JOSHUA KENNINGTON; her 
father, and mother, ZACHARIAH and EDITH LOFTIN UNDERWOOD and sister, RHODESSA 
LEE.
   Survivors include one son, K. D. KENNINGTON of Coushatta; one daughter, JO 
EDITH MADDEN and husband, DON, of Benton; sister, OZIE LEE of Bossier City, 
grandchildren, KEN KENNINGTON, KAREN JANE SASSER and husband, RONNIE, MICHAEL 
KENNINGTON and wife, ANN, JANICE MARIE CARLISLE and husband, DOYLE, JOE DON 
MADDEN and wife, JANET; great grandchildren, KENNY KENNINGTON, JOSHUA MADDEN,M 
JENNIFER MADDEN, CODY CARLISLE, CASEY CARLISLE, TODD SASSER, and SHAWN SASSER.
   Pallbearers were grandsons and great grandsons.
