   Funeral services for MR. JOE HENRY LOFTIN, 68, of Coushatta, were held a 2 
p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta 
with the REV. RICK McDONALD officiating. Interment was in Thomas Wren Cemetery 
at Martin.
  MR. LOFTIN passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003 at his residence. He was born 
Jan. 29 1935 in Red River Parish.
  He was preceded in death by his parents L.J. and LIZZIE LOFTIN.
  Survivors include his wife of 41 years, MARY LOFTIN; children, LISA and CHIP 
SPAULDING; SHAUN and STACEY LOFTIN; STEPHANIE and SCOTT HOPPE; brother, GARY 
and KADA LOFTIN; grandchildren, KRISTEN SPAULDING, SCOTTY HOPPE, JESSICA 
SPAULDING, MICHAEL HOPPE, KATIE HOPPE, and ANSLEY LOFTIN.
  Pallbearers were J. B. McELWEE, FLOYD GAHAGAN, BRAD FAIRCHILD, JERRY LANE 
HESTER, MIKE McWILLIAMS and DANNY SNEAD.
  Special thanks to DR. GERRY SAN PEDRO and FAYE BOULIN, also DR. JOYCE 
FEAGIN, DR. ROBERN HERNANDEZ, DR. SCOTT PHILLIPS, Odyssey Health Care and 
Advantage Health Care.
