MERCE LOFTIN, 78, of Dallas, Tx., were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 1990 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel here, with the REV. CARTER HALL officiating. Burial was in Holley Springs Cemetery. MR. LOFTIN passed away May 15, 1990 at Baylor Medical Center in Dalas. He was a farmer, and was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, LAMOIEN LOFTIN of Camden, Ark.; one daughter, SUE LANE LAGARDE of Dallas; two brothers, WILLIAM H. LOFTIN and L. J. LOFTIN, both of Coushatta; three grandchildren, MICHAEL LOFTIN of Houston, Tx., BECKY GRISSOM of Mesquite, Tx., STEVEN LEWIS LOFTIN of Ward, Ark., three great- grandchildren, CRYSTAL, BRITTANY and COURTNEY GRISSOM, all of Mesquite. Pallbearers were JOHNNY LOFTIN, RICHARD LOFTIN, BUDDY LOFTIN, JOE HENRY LOFTIN, GARY LYNN LOFTIN, and CLAUDE VEATCH.
