Coushatta Citizen,  Nov. 26, 1996
   Funeral seervices for MRS. ETHEL LOFTIN, 76, of Coushatta were held at 2 
p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 1996 at Coushatta Rose-Neath Chapel with the REV. FREDDY 
MASON officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery in Coushatta.
   MRS. LOFTIN passed away Nov. 21, 1996 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in 
Shreveport. She was born in Red River Parish. She was a house-wife and a 
member of the Baptist church.
   Survivors inclulde one son, ROBERT "BOB" W. LOFTIN of Zachary; four 
daughters, ELIZABETH LOFTIN of Hammond; MYRA L. CUMBER of Coushatta; EMLVA RAE 
BURNETT of DeBerry, Tx., and TAMMY G. FRANK of Haughton; one sister, MELVIA 
DICKSON of Coushatta; and ten grandchildren.
   Pallbearers were LEONARD WOODARD JR., LEONARD WOODARD II, BRIAN ROSS, 
STEPHEN ROSS, LYNN ROSS, and CLIFTON LONG.
