CLEVELAND "PISTOL" MORGAN, SR., 76, of Coushatta were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with the REV. WILEY COLE officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. MR. MORGAN passed away Nov. 4, 2000 at Christas Coushatta Health Care Center. He was born Jan. 3, 1924 in Red River Parish. He was a Retail Merchant, a veteran, and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, DENNIS MORGAN and wife, THERESA, of Natchitoches; HARRY MORGAN and wife, RITA, of Martin; VERNON MORGAN and wife, LAURA, of Mansfield; one daughter, DONNA MORAN and DONALD, of Shreveport; two brothers, MAX MORGAN of Woodlawn, Tx.; DONNIE GLYNN MORGAN of Haughton; one sister, MARION TILLEY of Martin; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were TERRY FLORANE, DAMON MORGAN, JASON MORGAN, CALEB MORGAN, CLAY FLORANE, PAXTON MORGAN. Honorary pallbearer was JERRY GUYE.
