Anniston Star
Services for Cadis Atkins Padgett, 60, of Shreveport, formerly of Cragford, were 
Dec. 31 at Rose-Neath's Funeral Home chapel in Shreveport with the Rev. Dick 
Sawyer officiating. Burial was in Bethany Presbyterian Church Cemetery in 
Coushatta, La. Mr. Padgett died Dec. 29 at his residence. Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Vera Padgett of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly Moore of 
Keithport, La., and Miss Kim Padgett of Shreveport; two sons, Ronnie Padgett and 
Randy Padgett, both of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. Edna Moody of Delta; four 
sisters, Mrs. Marilyn New of Anniston, Mrs. Dorothy J. Fuller of Lineville, Mrs. 
Mae Sheets of LaGrange, Ga., and Mrs. Mary Bridges of Cragford; three brothers, 
Harold Moody of Bay Minette, Curtis Moody of Lineville and Dallas Moody of 
LaGrange; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Paul Santori, Bill Santori, 
D.W. Hollowell. Dino Bustillo, Harold A. Babin, and Walter Loun.
