   Graveside services for MRS. RUTH RAWLS, 94, of Coushatta, La., were held at 
2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004, at Springville Cemetery in Coushatta with DR. 
GREGORY BELL officiating.
   MRS. RAWLS was born on March 6, 1910 in Red River Parish, and she 
peacefully passed away on Monday, Nov. 1, 2004 at Green Meadow Haven in 
Coushatta.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, OVIE RAWLS, eight sisters and 
three brothers.
   Survivors include one daughter, NITA and husband, GLEN SOMETHERMON of 
Shreveport; one son, JERRY RAWLS and wife, BETTY, of Plain Dealing, La.; 
Grandchildren, KEN RAWLS, KAREN MARLER, RODNEY SMOTHERMON and wife, TERESA, 
RACHEL and husband, MIKE JOHNSON, FELISA and husband PAUL BOWIE; 13 great 
grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
   Services were under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta.
