Coushatta Citizen    Oct. 7, 1999
   Funeral services for FRANKLIN BENSON RAWLS, 98, of Coushatta, were held at 
10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Coushatta Chapel 
with the REV. McKEE WILLIAMS officiating, assisted by WILLIAM FLETCHER RAWLS 
and TONY CURCIO. Burial was in Holley Springs Cemetery.
   MR. RAWLS passed away Oct. 4, 1999. He was a Mason and member of the Silent 
Brotherhood LOdge #146 in Coushatta, and was also a retired school bus driver.
   Survivors inlcude his sons: BOBBY RAWLS and wife, TRU of Shreveport; DICKIE 
RAWLS and wife, JOHNNIE of Martin; HOUSTON RAWLS of San Antonio, Tx.; ELOY 
RAWLS and wife MEREDYTHE of Ore City, Tx.; one daughter, BONNIE BETH HASSELL 
and husband, DON, of Hallsville, Tx.; 21 grandchildren; 33 great 
grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and one great-great-great 
grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
   Pallbearers were his grandsons.
