CLORIE THOMAS, 98, of Coushatta were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998 at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with the REV. FRED SALTER officiating. Burial was in Thomas-Wren Cemetery. MRS. THOMAS passed away Jean. 31, 1998, at the Senior Citizens Center in Coushatta. She was born March 16, 1899 in Red River Parish. She was a home- maker, and a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, JAMES W. THOMAS; one son, JAMES MAURICE THOMAS; one granddaughter, LEIGH A. THOMAS; and one great granddaughter, AMBER L. BARNHARD. Survivors include one son, JAMES RAY THOMAS and wife, MARY, of Baton Rouge; two daughters, LILLIAN PAPIANO of Ormand Beach, Fl.; MARY LOUISE BARNHART of Baton Rouge; three granddchildren, KEVIN W. THOMAS, PATRICIA B. LEPP, ALBERT BARNHARD; and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were DUWAYNE THOMAS, LAMON THOMAS, FLOYD MANGUM,TOM MANGUM, MARVIN THOMAS and MERCER B. DUPREE, JR.
