   COUSHATTA, LA. -- Services for MR. LOUIS E. "BLACK" THOMAS of Coushatta 
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the Magnolia Baptist Church in 
Coushatta with BROTHER DONNIE COX officiating, assted by the REV. JACK WALLER. 
Burial will be at Holley Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rockett-
Nettles Funeral Home.
   MR. THOMAS died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1986, at the L. S. Huckaby Memorial 
Hospital in Coushatta following a lengthy illness. he and his wife were the 
retired owners of Dixie Maid Drive-in in Shreveport and members of Magnolia 
Baptist Church.
   He is survived by his wife, ETTRICE LOFTIN THOMAS of Coushatta; two 
brothers, M. B. THOMAS of Shreveport, WOODROW THOMAS of Columbus, Ohio; one 
sister, CLORIE THOMAS of Coushatta.
   Pallbearers will be FLOYD MANGUM, TOM MANGUM, KENNETH THOMAS, LAMON THOMAS, 
DUE WAYNE THOMAS, and JAMES RAY THOMAS.
