WILEY COLE, Minister of the Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial with full military rites was in Hand Cemetery. SR.A. WALTERS died suddently, Saturday, May 2, 1992, as the result of an automobile accident in Red River Parish. SR.A. WALTERS graduated from Parkway High School in Bossier City and Dental Technician School in Wichita Falls, Tx. and had become certified in his field. At the time of his death he was assigned to the 2nd Medical Group, Barksdale Air Force Base. He was an active member at Bethel Baptist Church, an avid sportsman and had won his yellow beck in Tackwondo. He was preceded in death by his mother, BETTY GINGLES WALTERS; and grandfather, THOMAS GINGLES. He is survived by his father, LARRY DONALD WALTERS of Coushatta; one sister, SUSAN WALTERS HORNE and husband, ROBERT, of Shreveport; one nephew, ETHAN HORNE; grandmother, MRS. HELEN GINGLES of Coushatta; and a number of aunts, uncles cousins and a host of friends. Pallbearers were members of the military.
