   COUSHATTA, LA. -- VERNON EARNEST WEBB, age 81, born Nov. 12, 1922 in Hanna, 
La., passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2003.
   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, in the 
Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta. Officiating will be the REV. 
BILLY BURKETT. Burial will follow in the Springville Cemetery.
   MR. WEBB was preceded in death by his wife, ANNIE MAE BROWN WEBB; his 
parents, OBIE and BESSIE NIX WEBB; one brother, BURNELL WEBB; one sister, 
CLOTILDE WEBB BROWN.
   He is survived by four sons, RONALD WEBB of Coushatta; RALPH WEBB of 
Monroe; SANDY WEBB of Coushatta; and DOUGLAS WEBB and wife, JANA, of 
Shreveport; three daughters, JUDY WEBB of Huckaby and husband, BUDDY, of 
Coushatta; VIRGINIA S. WEBB of Oxford, Ms., and ELIZABETH WEBB PERKINS and 
husband, JOHN of Coushatta; sister-in-law, ADDIE COOPER of Vidalia; nine 
grandsons, RAY SPRUILL, JEFFREY WEBB, DANIEL WEBB, LAYNE HUCKABAY, DUSTIN 
WEBB, JIM PERKINS, JOHN RALPH WEBB, CODY WEBB and JAY PERKINS; two 
granddaughters, EMMILY ANN PERKINS and NATALIE ANN WEBB; one great grandson, 
DAYTON SPRUILL.
   Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
   The family request memorials be made to Shriner's Hospital; Louisiana 
Baptist Children's Home; Ark-La-Tex Parkinson's Association or Riverdale 
Academy.
