Officiating will be BISHOP ALLEN WATSON. Burial will be at Social Springs Cemetery in Ringgold, La. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Pallbeearers will be full-time missionaries of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. Visitation will be at Centuries Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 1998. MRS. WOODARD was born May 14, 1932 in Amesborough, Salisbury, England and went to be with Jesus Friday, July 24, 1998 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was a citizen of the U.S. since 1957 and resided in Shreveport most of her life. She worked at Montgomery Wards until retirement. She enjoyed watching her birds, loved flowers and working in her garden. She was a faithful and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and will be sorely missed by her many family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, BENJAMIN GILBERT MURLEY and GRACE LILLIAN DRAYSON MURLEY;husband, EMORY LAMAR WOODARD; and brother, MICHAEL GERMAINE MURLEY. She is survived by daughters: TERESA WOODARD of Shreveport, La., and CAROL SPIERS and husband, JERRY of Bossier City, La.; sons, DANNY WOODARD and wife MERLENE, of West Point, Ut., and DAVID WOODARD of Bossier City, La.; sisters, JOYCE FRENCH and husband, RICHARD, of England and YVONNE FOWLER and husband, BOBBY of Baton Rouge, La.; brothers, JOHN MURLEY and wife, SYLVIA; ALBERT MURLEY and wife, BARBARA, and DENNIS MURLEY and wife, BARBARA, all of England; five grandchildren, JOSEPH WOODARD, ERIC WOODARD, BRET WOODARD and RYAN WOODARD of West Point, Ut. and SHELLIE SPIERS of Bossier City; numerous in- laws, nieces, nephews and friends. MASSINGILL and HIGHTOWER, Hospice of Shreveport- Bossier, in particular, CHERIE, CAROLYN and VERA and a very special thanks to TERESA WOODARD for their wonderful loving care of MRS. WOODARD.
