The death certificate of J. M. ELLIOTT, JR. of Coushatta, son of J. M. T. 
ELLIOTT and MARTHA COLLINS ELLIOTT, reveals that he died in Shreveport at the 
North Louisiana Sanitorium on Aug 13, 1929 of complications following an 
operation to remove his appendix. He was born Feb. 9, 1878.
