The final resting place of Isaac S. Elliott was in the Cemetery which he 
helped establish at Holly Springs.

Isaac Elliott's birthplace is mistakenly given on the tombstone as South 
Carolina; however, he was born in Anson County, North Carolina, and his eldest 
sons were born there, also. Isaac Sheppard Elliott was the son of John 
Elliott, Sr.
