Red River Parish
STATE OF LOUISIANA   PARISH OF RED RIVER
Know all Men by these Presents, That we, J. M. ELLIOTT as principal, and W. H. 
WAMSLEY as security, are held and bound unto W. H. HEARD, Governor of the 
State of Louisiana, and his successors in office, in the sum of five hundred 
dollars, lawful money, for the payment of which we hereby bind ourselves 
jointly in solido.
        The condition of this obligation is such, that whereas, the said J. M. 
ELLIOTT has this day obtained a license to marry MISS A. B. McGRAW Now, if, at 
the time said license was granted, there existed no legal impediment of said 
marriage, then this obligation to be null and void, otherwise to be in full 
force and virtue.
        Done and signed this 5th day of Octobert 1901.

To any Person authorized to Celebrate Marriages in the Parish of Red River -- 
Greetings.
        You are hereby licensed and permitted to unite in the bonds of 
matrimony, according to law and established rules,
MR. J. M. ELLIOTT and MISS A. B. McGRAW
        Given under my hand and seal of office as Clerk of the District Court 
in and for the Parish of Red River, the 5th day of October, 1901

        Be it remembered, That in pursuance of a license issued by the clerk 
of the District Court of the Parish of Red River, Louisiana, I have performed 
the solemn rites of matrimony between MR. J. M. ELLIOTT and MISS A. B. McGRAW 
ON THE 6TH of October, 1901 in the presence of the undersigned subscribing 
witnesses.
