STATE OF LOUISIANA
PARISH OF RED RIVER

To JOHN DUPREE or any Justice of the Peace, or Minister of the Gospel, 
authorized to celebrate marriage, within the parish of Red River -- Greetings;
You are hereby commissioned, authorized and empowered, to celebrate marriage 
between MR. JOSHUA NORRED and MISS SUSANNAH H. ELLIOTT, both residents of the 
Parish of Red River, to join them together in Holy Wedlock, according to law.
             Given under my hand and Seal of the District Court, at Coushatta, 
La., this 5th day of March, A. D. 1872.

               In pursuance of the foregoing License, I have this day 
celebrated marriage between MR. JOSHUA NORRID and MISS SUSANNAH H. ELLIOTT, 
residents of the Parish of Red River.
    In testimony whereof, I have caused the parties to sign their names 
hereto, together with me, the undersigned. March 7,1872 in presence of the 
attesting witnesses.
