  To any Person authorized to Celebrate Marriages in the Parish of Red River --
Greeting:
  You are hereby licensed and permitted to unite in the bonds of matrimony 
according to law and established rules MR. JOSEPH H. PIERSON and MISS MAGGIE 
M. BELL
        Given under my hand and seal of office as Clerk of the District Court 
in and for the Parish of Red River, the 19th day of March One Thousand Eight 
Hundred and Seventy Nine

   Be it Remembered, That in pursuance of a License issued by the Clerk of the 
District Court of the Parish of Red River, Louisiana, I have performed the 
solemn rites of Matrimony between MR. JOSEPH H. PIERSON and MISS MAGGIE M. 
BELL on the 20th day of March 1879 in the presence of the undersigned 
subscribing witnesses.
