My father could not read or write very well, however his occupation became Mechanic, he could fix cars. Everyone would like to think there parent did it well. Everyone who just about came in contact with Robert loved his charisma, very giving. Didn't have much fortune with women he just kept picking the wrong one, after Linda E Allen they were thirteen when they met, and mom had left home herself. They didn't have me till 68'. Would see my dad occasionally and not more until 92' when he was shot and left to die on the side of the road from helping someone with their car in the rain. Later he would he called. Correction the hospital called my he had my number on him for some years. I made arrangement for him to go back to Louisiana to be with his mother whom I never met. After he got out of the hospital he boarded that greyhound and came back to Louisiana. It would be 97' before I would meet up with Robert again, I met relatives and my grandmother, some aunts and cousins, it was exciting times yet hard. Louisiana was basically a poor state, and people stayed on their jobs almost till they retired. So you could find work, however you could barely made it. My Robert had been involved in drugs for sometime and neglected his health, he was in his fifties when he was diagnosed with Diabetes which he didn't take care of, it would eventually take his life at age 52. Robert was a good 6'2" chocolate brown, like most of his brothers who were 6'feet or better. GMama Sarah carried the Diabetes gene she didn't get it, however she passed it on to almost every other child. Robert had 7 other siblings. I remember one incident where my Aunt tried to run over my child with her car she was 5yrs old, and I was going to woop my 70+ Aunt and my father caught me and said to me. She is not worth loosing your religion over! Additional Comments: Sabrie(Sarah)parents were-Florena Wade and Harry Rogers - Florena Parents were Hampton Wade and Amanda. Harry Parents were Dorcas Rogers and slave owner Joseph S or JS SJ Rogers. Rubbin parents were Ruben Barker and Elvyra Turner Giles Ruben Barker parents were Jack and Jane Barker both being born in slavery that is were this story stops because, I don't know where to go, census records shows Richland Alto Louisiana.
