A nephew of Hewlitt Choate, Mack Taylor then went in and explored this site. His comments are as follows;“I was able to find it last Sunday(September 24, 2006) and uncover some names on many of the graves.  I took digital photographs of the markers I uncovered.  Even though it probably isn't our Choat family cemetary, our finding may help someone else.  I would like to pass this along to the right people.  The site is completely grown over and has not been tended to in years.   The dates are harder to read than I thought they would be.  Someone should go back to the site and identify all the graves. My guess is that it is the Chapman cemetery based on the names.  There are other graves in this little clump of woods standing out in a cotton field.  It is located about 150 yards north of hwy 576 about a quarter mile east of hwy 135.  The site has a trampled down wire fence bounding the grave yard.  Trees vines and bushes have taken over. Here are the names I found.   Thomas Chapman 1863  1888 Alice Quisenberry 1866  1882 Mary C Brown 1847  1876 Robt L Chapman 1870 1870 Richard Nichols Died 1884 Sarah A Nichols 1825  1911 S W Greenwell 1813  1873 Anna Chapman 1868  1889
