Veterans Hold Meeting

Major Victor Maurin, Camp No. 38 United Confederate Veterans, held its monthly 
session and election of the Mohawk Club, at the rooms of the Mohawk Club at 
Donaldsonville, with Cammander S.A. Poche president, Adjutant William M. 
Murphy at Donaldsonville, with Commander S.A. Poche presiding, Adjutant 
William M. Murphy at the secretary's desk, and a large attendance of the 
members.  Comrades A.F. LeBlanc and C. Armand Gaudin, delerates to the State 
Re-union, submitted a lengthy and interesting report of that gathering, which 
was received and adopted.  After other routine business had been disposed of 
the election of officers was held, with the result tha all the present 
officers of the Camp were chosen for another term.
