Murderers Lynched

RAYVILLE, La., Jan 7. – The jail was forcibly entered by a mob last 
night and L. N. Disharnon and Col. Forster were lynched for the murder 
of a Jewish peddler a week ago.

Self-Confessed Murderers Lynched.

VICKSBURG, Miss.  Jan 8 -- The jail at Rayville was broken in upon 
Wednesday by about 100 lynchers, who took Cal Foster and Horace
Dishnson, two negroes charged with the murder of a Jewish peddler,
and hanged them to a tree near this jail.  The prisoners met their
fate bravely and acknowledged the crime.
