N. Disharnon and Col. Forster were lynched for the murder of a Jewish peddler a week ago. The State, SC, January 8, 1892 Self-Confessed Murderers Lynched. VICKSBURG, Miss. Jan 8 -- The jail at Rayville was broken in upon Wednesday by about 100 lynchers, who took Cal Foster and Horace Dishnson, two negroes charged with the murder of a Jewish peddler, and hanged them to a tree near this jail. The prisoners met their fate bravely and acknowledged the crime.
