Edgar Free and Sis. Sue Day officiating. Interment will be in the Gwin Cemetery in Mangham, LA, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home Rayville, LA. Audrey Lee Hales Byargeon was born on August 12, 1922 in Polkville, MS and passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in Rayville, LA. Mrs. Byargeon was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville and the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Richardson Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Pearl Hales; siblings, Graham Hales, Clemor Phillips, May Searcy, X. V. Hales, Dennis Hales, Ruby Free, Laverne Clark, and Francis Cardin. Survivors include her husband John C. Byargeon of Rayville, LA; children: Gene Hutson of West Monroe, LA, Jane Patterson of High Point, NC, John C. Byargeon, Jr. of Elm Grove, LA and Rick W. Byargeon of New Orleans, LA; siblings: Billy Ray Hales, Laura Free, Waymon Hales and Diane Free; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Curt Hutson, J.J. Patterson, Trey Byargeon, Brandon Hutson, Kenneth Hales, Davie Lee Day and alternate William Bruce Hales. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home.
