ALICE STURDIVANT EVANS

   Services for Mrs. Alice Sturdivant Evans, age 90, of Rayville, LA, 
will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Brown-Holley Funeral 
Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. Fred Keys officiating. Interment will 
follow in Greer Cemetery Rayville, LA.
   Mrs. Evans was born on November 22, 1913 and passed away on Tuesday, 
April 20, 2004.
   Mrs. Evans was a member ofthe Zebedee Baptist Church. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, William V. "Bill" Evans; granddaughter: Andrea 
Joiner McGee; brother: Woodrow Sturdivant.
   Survivors include: her children, Bryant Evans and wife, Jeanette of Yucca 
Valley, William H. "Billy" Evans and wife, Sherrie of Denham Springs, LA, 
Evelyn Evans Monk and husband, Howard of Boyce, LA, Alice Evon Evans and 
husband, Ronald of Mangham, LA, Kelly Evans and wife, Francine of Rayville, 
LA, Charles A. Evans and wife, Pat of Monroe, LA; seventeen grandchildren, 
twenty-six great-grandchildren.
    Pallbearers will be Darell Evans, Todd Nobles, Kevin Nobles, Mark Bennett,
 Mark Jinks, and Jerry Sturdivant.
    Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at Brown-Holley 
Funeral Home Rayville, LA.
